As some folks noticed late last night, I updated the Discover section on Micro.blog to have a better popup menu for choosing topics. It’s not the full list yet, but includes a bunch of the common ones.
@manton I’ve been wondering if, for the apps, it would be possible to add the topics to the User search (as pseudo-users) so that we could get to all of them (vs on the web, where you can follow a link from anywhere, or a bookmark, to get to an arbitrary topic)? Or is that more work than just figuring out how to list all of them in the apps?
@smokey It's not more work, but I don't think it's really any easier. Now that we have this new menu in the web (and people seem to like it), I think I have a better idea of what to do on iOS/macOS.
@JoeHoffman Good to know, thank you. We're going to do an iOS update that is mostly bug fixes, then hopefully work these improvements into the following update.
