My two dogs started properly changing their coats yesterday. Already this morning the floors look like the aftermath of a furry sex orgy.

So to the person who invented the Furminator: I salute you. This tool is what will keep the furpocalypse at bay for the coming weeks. 🐕

@mangochutney I had one of those when I had a dog. What an invention! I thought about getting the smallest size for my guinea pigs, but it's not recommended. Surprisingly to me, they shed more than the dog, year round. I resigned myself to an industrial-strength lint roller for use after picking them up.

@mangochutney @jean Our carpenter’s dog gets groomed via vacuum. She gets very excited to hear any vacuum cleaner and will try to “help” you groom her by taking the hose in her mouth. Makes it interesting when cleaning up with the shop vac!

@mangochutney same for our orange boy. We have orange blonde cat hair everywhere.
