@maique Make sense. Outside of owning the instance and domain, do you see any other benefits from having your own instance?

@Mtt Custom emoji, and fun. I don’t think there really is a point beyond the domain. It was mostly a “why not?” that turned into a reality 🙂

@Mtt Sounds like a solid solution. I personally really like having my Micro.blog as the “one site to rule them all” and definitely don’t want to be responsible for my own Mastodon instance.

@jeroensangers It still isn’t perfect, but I doubt my idea of perfect is even possible.
