@maique you’re not alone. I had some of the same feelings once lockdown restrictions started to be lifted here last year. It was so nice and quiet near our flat with hardly any cars on the road. It was noticeable very quickly that restrictions were lifted when the noise came back. As much as I’m ready for life to return to normal and be able to travel again, it was nice with the peace and quiet for a bit.

@maique Reopening is such a double-edged sword. I can’t wait to see my friends in person again but I’m not at all looking forward to the busy travel that will be required to do so. Quiet is a premium again.

@donnydavis I’m not being too fair for everyone else, life must go on, and there’s a lot of suffering because everything was shut down. But selfishly, and aware of it, I don’t feel ready. We’re not traveling soon, and I really appreciated the quietness... 😔

@maique yeah, same here. We are traveling to see family in May and really nervous about it. We haven’t visited them in over 2 years now b/c our trips last year got canceled. Our connecting flight is actually in Lisbon, I’ll wave as we come through. 😊

@Portufraise I could go on like this for a while longer. Maybe move to Principe and be done. Stay there forever.

@gregmoore I’m with you on all of that. We’ll be as before in no time, no one is talking about taking this opportunity to make changes and all that anymore...
