Love these upcoming covers for A Song of Ice and Fire. I never finished reading past book 2 years ago and would like to pick up the series again.

@peterw He says he’s working on it! I think he will finish the series.

@lmika @peterw I remember him saying that the ending will be different than the show because he hadn’t figured it all out yet. I think he blogged that some people who survived in the show will die in the books, and vice versa.

@manton @lmika I recall he worked with the show runners to sketch out how he saw the series ending so the show stayed consistent with it but there were variations like you say, different deaths etc. I think we’ve broadly seen the conclusion but the book will offer greater depth and detail.
