@JohnPhilpin Wait, there are people here you haven’t followed yet!? I did not believe that to be possible ;-) (Just kidding, when I checked the other night, you were only following about 2x the people I was, and I know this place is bigger than that :-) )
@kitt I will be (pleasantly) surprised if you find anyone, as it looks like you're following more people than me already :-)
@smokey somewhere in here i mentioned that I follow anyone I haven’t followed - just to find and discover new people and things. i do that in most nascent networks - and then unfollow if they hit certain conditions - so far i haven’t unfollowed anyone here. also an interesting exercise to understand just how big this universe might be. since i think that can be worked out by the technical part of the crowd - and of course Manton knows ..
@JohnPhilpin @smokey @kitt you all follow so many people. Do you read everything on your timeline, or just whatever shows up when you load up MB?
@vishae I tend to make sure I scroll back to the overnight conversations, otherwise I end up missing most of what East Asia and Europe have to say, but I actually read only things that seem interesting (i.e., when I skim/scan upon something about Linux or fancy pens or the latest Swift tips, I keep on going ;-) ). I’d say the vast majority of the people I follow don’t post (or reply) daily, and a lot of people also are mostly-photos, so it’s not as bad as it might seem. I am at the edge of where it is getting difficult, though, but the last 50 follows have come far more slowly than the first or even second 50 follows. // @JohnPhilpin @kitt
@vishae what @johnphilpin and @smokey said. I try to read them all, I scroll back, but I still miss some. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

truth
in fact i have some people who have never posted - plus, i wonder if some of mine are ghosts - i.e. they signed up - i followed - and then they went away … i wonder if this is Hotel California ?
@JohnPhilpin use ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ in your expander, to have the correctly escaping markdown
@simonmumbles @kitt @smokey love the shrug, but I think my favourite is the table flipper (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Talking about enhancement features, it’ll be great if there was an easy way copy everyone’s username in a thread when replying. Especially on the iOS app where I can actually see the thread anymore and can’t remember everyone involved.
