Hey, fountain (and other) pen and paper enthusiasts! We don’t have a Discover emoji tag feed for you folks yet, but I know there are quite a few of you. Roll call? I’d like to keep a list. There are new microbloggers joining us right now who are interested.

@dgreene196 thanks Devon, unfortunately I’m in Canada which has draconian import limits and duty charges. If it wasn’t for this I’d be all over that! Now that you mention it though I’m going to peek around and see if I can find any Canadian based deals out there.

@jean Count me in. A few months ago i replaced my online calendar with a paper planner/diary. Very happy with the change. I'd correspond with friends by letter/postcard if there were enough other people writing letters/postcards. I don't care much about pens, probably like a Pilot V5 best. (Anne Tyler says she uses those to write all her novels, but so far they haven't made me more creative as far as I can tell).

@jean I am shifting from digital toward analog systems, that is paper notebooks with pencils and pens. I would certainly be interested in anything written about such topics. A special emoji or icon would be a very helpful tool for finding them here. I have a favorite stationery store in Thailand where I always head for the notebooks, pens & pencils inventory, always so fascinating.

I love the idea of pen and paper. I love holding and smelling the physical paper... the aesthetic... however, as an aspiring minimalist, I don't love the paper clutter... and I prefer typing rather writing with a pen. I'm not overly enthusiastic about my handwriting, and I like the neatness in typing. I used to keep journals, and in my early decluttering stages, after reading through them, I got rid of them. I processed my life through writing... but now I wanted to live in the present, not hold on to my past.
