The Seine passed tests for levels of pollution a few days ago. Then there were heavy rains. Now the Seine is too polluted to swim in. So the rain is polluted? @JohnPhilpin Overspill water usually brings down sewer and other pollutants like oil.

@JohnPhilpin there is a great video about this. all foul and rainwater overflows head into the seine. they built a tank to mitigate this. clearly it didnt work hard enough or there was too much rain. https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=seine+river+olympics+2024+wsj
