One of my favourite things about Mb is the lack of friction in posting. There may or may not be title requirements, no tags or categories, just words. The posts end up being effectively ephemeral, fleeting. The question is whether or not they provide you or others with any value.

@kaa totally agree. And I’m finding myself wanting more of these posts, rather than wading through everyone’s replies. Can’t wait till we can turn them off. It’s the only thing keeping me from adding more people to my Timeline.

@jhull more control within the app would be awesome. I guess @Manton needs to run another KS to get some help with all the programming ;)

@kaa @kaa I don't think he'd need to do that. There are tons of developers here, using the service. If he needed help, he could ask for it, and I bet a number of folks would step forward to give him help. Maybe he just really likes creating the whole thing by himself.

@Ron possibly but yearly Kickstarter drives isn’t uncommon. Radio topics have done it for years as they sought to expand the teams

@kaa never considered the yearly KS drives—great idea. It’s a difficult one, because I do discover others by a reply someone I already follow. The different color idea is fine, but I can’t help but think there’s a way to reference conversations people are having without the full reply

@jhull Another solution (at least on the web) is to have the @ replies hidden and the conversation accordians them below the post itself maybe?
