For all the time that I have had my iPad it has worked flawlessly. I have mothered this thing, considering it is my primary tool. @ciaran none. That is the problem. After a reset I basically leave it overnight and it looses 25% of the charge, constant drain. I am now just considering keeping it bound to the charger, not sure what that does for the battery though. I need to be able to use this thing, until either a miracle happens on the software side. Alternatively I take it in and pay again to get it actually resolved one way or another.

@kaa There’s really no app listed under the battery settings at all? It should at least list a bunch of apps, showing the battery percentage they use, their time on screen, and any background usage time. I’d suspect in the case of a fresh install that there’d be a lot of drain early on while photos and apps are re-downloaded and synced. Spotlight/mail/Siri indexing can take a lot of energy with a fresh install too. Oh, and for what it’s worth, there’s not problem with leaving the ipad plugged in overnight. I’ve done that for years.
