Manuel Moreale has started a new People and Blogs series where he interviews people about their blogs. The post with me just went live today. I love this idea and look forward to future posts in the series.

@manton A lovely read! I think it’s so fantastic that you have such a longstanding archive and that you’ve kept it intact through multiple transitions. Thanks for sharing your story here and it will be cool to read others’ in the series. 👍

@manton in hindsight, this makes so much sense.

I switched away from using larger external monitors and just use my MacBook Pro regardless of where I am. I like that it's the same everywhere I go, so I don't feel like I'm any less productive when away from my home office.

@pratik This approach really works for me. I figure I'm slightly less productive on a smaller screen, but there's no context switch so that gains me much more productivity than I lose.

@pratik Interesting. I feel that working on the laptop alone is my baseline, and time I can get on setup at home or work with the larger 2nd display is an addition/bonus. I guess the context switch cost is pretty low for my (admittedly weird) brain...and the work I do. Except for the Macbook keyboard, which is definitely a drag!

@manton A great read. I’ve been looking forward to P&B and Manuel picked the perfect person to open the series with. I’ll have to check out some of the IndieWeb blogs you recommended at the end.
