Needed two more sets of hiking poles for our trip to Switzerland. Tyler and I went to REI and after consulting with the hiker in the store decided on LEKI sticks. I got the Makalu Cork Lite and he got the Lhasa.
@quinntchrest Agree. I've been a member for at least 25 years. One of my favorite places to shop and explore. Just to highlight how old I am, I remember when the flagship store opened in Bloomington!
@Ddanielson @jthingelstad @quinntchrest You got me beat, Dave. Joined in ‘92 when I had a scout hike to gear up for. Same store on Cap Hill. Will always remember the smell of creosote from the old warehouse boards in the back stairs! Also worked at the new flagship for a while back in the early 00’s.
