Does enabling this setting apply to JPGs and PNGs or does the term ‘photos’ imply only JPGs and JPEGs? I’m trying to separate screenshots and other graphics images from photos cc: @manton

@pratik That applies to all images, although I wish it didn't. If you click the checkbox, then click Edit Filters, you can see how it works. It creates a filter that matches any img tag.
@manton Ok. I feared that was the case and hence I’ve not turned it on. I’ll see what I can do with filters and categories to get at what I need.
@pratik Ideally we'd have an "and" filter, e.g. img tag and JPEG, but even without that I bet if you just matched .jpg
in the text it would work most of the time.
@jsonbecker @manton Thanks. I remember using that in the past, but now I realize that not all screenshot images are uploaded as PNGs. Many of them are still JPEGs/JPGs. Perhaps due to a shortcut I've been using to upload images. I can fix that moving forward.
So if I do create a new filter for filtering out JPGs and DON'T use the 'run filter', will the category be populated with new posts only?
