I can’t quite believe we still need to explain this, but if you’re using “gay” in a negative way when what you really mean is “that’s so annoying/stupid/lame” , you’re literally just being homophobic.

… because they’re literally just using ableist language.

There are three people on the byline and nobody caught that. Yikes.

@smithtimmytim Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way. It seems like a very good article, a primer even though no straight person should feel owed such a thing.

Lack of intersectionality is one of those things I see a lot ever since I learned about it. I’m especially sensitive when people want to make use of righteous words and sensational headlines.
