@marmanold Pretty close to what I'm looking for. I eventually decided against the Boox products because I don't love Readwise Reader and Matter doesn't make an Android app.
@mineinmono I’ve got a Boox now. It’s a really good eReader and pretty good at Readwise Reader (highlighting sucks). This issue is with RSS, reading Micro.blog, and anything with a URL. Also, very frustrating to research something quickly on the Internet.
@marmanold That’s interesting to hear that the highlighting isn't good because that is the focus of my use case. Otherwise, I can get by with Matter sending articles to my Kindle.
@marmanold Mini iPhone? This is close: thetinypod.com no Camera. There's also LightPhone III, which has a camera and will hopefully be supporting Beeper.com (it seems my LPII will be left behind on that development)
@marmanold for RSS I may start using my old Crofflr.com account w/ pinboard read-it-later, since I recently transitioned from a Remarkable 1 (still have lifetime subscritpion) to a Scribe. Scribe's software is horrible for writing, but I've found the PDF annotation faster and more useful than RM.
@marmanold whether I like it or not, I'm locked in to Verbum/Logos on a tablet for prep, but could possibly move to kindle through personal docs. And speech to text. Those mean that the simplest is or minimal but "regular." Otherwise I'd be really into just using minimal stuff
