So much fun to see these pop up on my site from the tinylytics webring 😍
P.S These are only a small subset!

@vincent That was my question for today: how many are there already? Because it feels like a lot more than a few days ago.
@maique Funny enough, it's exactly 50 from just counting. I don't know how many of those have site avatars...
@numericcitizen hey hey, wait... which website did you put in the webring? I can't see it as enabled.
@vincent I cannot get the avatar to appear. I am using the Tinylytics plug in on Tiny Theme. My Tinlytics ID is set in the plugin and my footer code is here: https://paste.lol/jomalo/tinylytics_footer.
@vincent That's a very decent webring already! I have enabled avatar for my site, but still wondering if/how I'm going to display the avatars next to the clover...
@vincent omg wait this is cute I wanna get into it too 😆 I saw the update, just haven't had the chance to explore :)))
@jomalo Just pushed out the update. Let me know if it works how you expect. Can take up to 2 hours to be available.
@maique I saw that there’s support in tinytheme for the webring avatars so I tried to get the image displaying but had to roll it back as the avatar image appears but is massive and I couldn’t figure out how to make it any smaller 😂 will try again tomorrow.
@DaveyCraney I’ll try tomorrow, and see what’s up. I kinda still like the single 🍀 I have going, but will give it a try.
@maique if you have more success it let me know. I’ve set mine to 🧑💻 instead for now and to be honest… I’m kinda digging it 😎
@jomalo aaah glad this wasn’t just me! I came up against this last night and rolled it back 😂
@DaveyCraney nope, not just you, I thought it was just me until I saw your post. Matt‘s theme and plug-in updates this morning are almost there, just an alignment fix left. I wish I knew how to fix it, my Hugo skills are borderline non existent.
@jomalo haha I tried to fix it myself as well but I couldn’t get it to centre at all 😂 web design just seems to be beyond me!
@DaveyCraney @jomalo Ok, I think I’ve got it worked out for yall. The problem I ran into was making it display properly for your use case (in the footer), but also properly on a page using the short code. Fixing one was breaking the other.
However, I believe I’ve worked it out.
The update is out with Tiny 1.8.9 (required updating). The Tinylytics plugin version is 1.5.1 (you both already have that).
(cc @vincent)
@eumrz @vincent It’s made as a block element by default, but I can send you a way to do it this evening.
@Mtt I do appreciate it, thanks a lot. In my first tries yesterday, it showed inline. Then it suddenly changed. I thought it was 1.8.8 that changed something, I might be wrong because I'm not very savvy. If you send me a fix whenever you can, I really thank you.
@eumrz In your custom css, add this:
.tinylytics_webring { display: inline-flex; }
Now every instance on your site has the ability to be shown inline. I debated making that the default, and even did at one point…but most people use it in the footer, centered on its own line.
@Mtt Yes, Sir. That did it and it is beautiful now. I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I really appreciate it, Matt, thanks a lot.
