@vincent I cannot get the avatar to appear. I am using the Tinylytics plug in on Tiny Theme. My Tinlytics ID is set in the plugin and my footer code is here: https://paste.lol/jomalo/tinylytics_footer.

@jomalo The plugin needs to be updated to allow the script to load an additional paramater of webring=avatars — by default it won't pull in the images. cc: @Mtt

@maique I saw that there’s support in tinytheme for the webring avatars so I tried to get the image displaying but had to roll it back as the avatar image appears but is massive and I couldn’t figure out how to make it any smaller 😂 will try again tomorrow.

@DaveyCraney I’ll try tomorrow, and see what’s up. I kinda still like the single 🍀 I have going, but will give it a try.

@DaveyCraney nope, not just you, I thought it was just me until I saw your post. Matt‘s theme and plug-in updates this morning are almost there, just an alignment fix left. I wish I knew how to fix it, my Hugo skills are borderline non existent.

@DaveyCraney @jomalo Ok, I think I’ve got it worked out for yall. The problem I ran into was making it display properly for your use case (in the footer), but also properly on a page using the short code. Fixing one was breaking the other.

However, I believe I’ve worked it out.

• It should automatically center when displayed either with shortcode in a post/page or without shortcode (such as in footer)
• Image size should scale based on chosen font size and stay vertically centered along side webring text

The update is out with Tiny 1.8.9 (required updating). The Tinylytics plugin version is 1.5.1 (you both already have that).

@Mtt @vincent 1.8.9 has fixed it for me too, thanks a lot. There's still a small thing, though. Without any line breaks, the webring is placed in its own line. I can't change that. I'd want to insert it in the same line with other text, but it makes its own line. Is this a feature?

@eumrz @vincent It’s made as a block element by default, but I can send you a way to do it this evening.

@Mtt I do appreciate it, thanks a lot. In my first tries yesterday, it showed inline. Then it suddenly changed. I thought it was 1.8.8 that changed something, I might be wrong because I'm not very savvy. If you send me a fix whenever you can, I really thank you.

@eumrz In your custom css, add this:

.tinylytics_webring { display: inline-flex; }

Now every instance on your site has the ability to be shown inline. I debated making that the default, and even did at one point…but most people use it in the footer, centered on its own line.
