The iMac G4’s unique design came out of technical limitations, but the computer quickly became an icon.

@ismh @apulianas Me too! The stop-motion is a really nice touch. (And that Mac is a perfect one to animate since it has so much Pixar-like personality.)
@ismh I'm sure! Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes about work from animation director Richard Williams:
I’ve never understood why some people in animation are so desperate to save work. If you want to save work, what on earth are you doing in animation? It’s nothing but work!
@ismh I’m considering that lens, but I have a crop sensor (A6500). Trying to decide between it or the 35mm for a cheap prime.
@ismh I've just procured one and want to put it to work. Do you think it would make a better monitor or replace the guts with a Nuc Hackintosh maybe?
@ismh I haven’t started poking around yet so thanks@for the pointer. Regardless of its fate, such a sexy machine, I’m glad I found it :)
@ismh I wanted to reply with a picture of the G4 iMac in my bedroom. But it was too dusty. It was Katie’s computer, but it and my TiBook are the only two “old” Macs I have hung on to. Well done on the video.
@ismh The iMac G4 is still my favorite of desktop Mac designs.
@ismh I never owned such a model but from design perspective it’s my favorite. Great video and great stop motion effects!
