I like @incanus@mastodon.social’s idea of Repurposing Hugo as a wiki.

I have a bunch of loose markdown files in a version-controlled folder that I consider my “company wiki”. Making it navigable with a web browser and letting documents link to each other would be a significant improvement.

@manton @johnbrayton Thanks, both of you! It's something I've been thinking about tackling for a while now.

@johnbrayton I’m biased (used to work on it), but Bear.app might be a nice fit for that type of thing. It’s easy to link to other notes and now shows backlinks (if that kinda thing interests you). It manages your notes in a database though, which might be a deal breaker given your source control setup.

@peteschaffner Thank you for the suggestion. It is a good idea. I do like Bear, and have been recently referring to it as an example of a Mac app that implements color themes nicely.

@johnbrayton I just stumbled upon Flyleaf (https://moehrenzahn.de/project/flyleaf/), which seems to implement themes whilst using a standard NSToolbar. This seems like the sweet spot to me as Bear required a lot of custom UI because of the need to theme.
