I will be attending the Release Notes conference in October. I was a speaker at the inaugural event in 2015, and I’ve also been a happy attendee since then — @joec and @dazeend put on a very special event for the indie dev biz. (Bonus: my first visit to Mexico!)

@macgenie Traveling with a bass is significantly less convenient than with a guitar. (Just a bit to big, even in a gig bag, for the overhead.) So I do it for trips where I’m playing a gig. But otherwise, no.

@macgenie I firmly believe all hotel rooms should just have a guitar or bass available. Like asking for a complimentary toothbrush.

@joec I'm thinking just the Martin Backpacker for acoustic jamming. Nothing big.

@joec Every room should come with a guitar, and every hotel should have at least one publicly-playable piano in or near the bar.

@BWLNG I would only bring the Backpacker. It's easy as a carry-on, though I'd need to rethink my packing strategy.
