@maique Craft was all the rage on MB few months ago. Now it seems like Ulysses is. I’m just getting around to Drafts now so I think I am at least a year behind MB flavor of the quarter 😌

@jakelacaze I felt exactly the same way about Craft. Loved the app and the concept but not enough to warrant another subscription. My note taking and writing apps are pretty much Evernote, Drafts and Ulysses.
@maique Nowhere near an expert, but definitely an avid Craft user. I replaced Evernote with Bear years ago, then Bear with Craft about 9 months ago. Still use Ulysses for writing tasks, but all notes and personal database/commonplace activity goes into Craft. Did you hav any questions in particular? Or just poking around?
@maique I choose to settle with Craft a bit over a month ago and couldn’t be happier. Drafts get most of my plain-text/short notes and Craft is where I am storing documents and more serious projects.
@maique I missed that too.. but my Apple account is still tied to the brazilian app store and they are fairly cheaper there. 😉
@maique interesting thread. I wrote long blog posts with video 15 years ago when I had web and social media company. It was the Wild West and the tools were few. As the west was won, it became less lucrative and fun.
Now use Evernote for long term note and Doc storage 52k+ notes going back to 2008. If I want to find my surgery report for my ‘09 shoulder surgery, it’s there. Lots in Bear, Apple notes is daily referral stuff. TeuxDeux is daily lists.
@maique haha, I have a Craft subscription, but stopped using it due to writing too many notes in it. Hear me out here, It is brilliant for backlinks, searching and overall an Evernote replacement. I find, when I make handwriting notes, on Goodnotes, I am processing my notes more. I think that is just me though. iA Writer and Ulysses on my to do list and even maybe Drafts.
@maique Yeah, you just hit exactly why I’m fine paying for the few apps I truly use. Better build quality, responsive support, etc…Let me knoe if any specific questions come up as you poke, happy to weigh in!
