@manton Republican's already say that, even when Democrats don't make things up. I don't think you can combat republican rhetoric with traditional debate logic.

@manton I disagree. There is a difference between a made up fact and a joke. Jokes are typically non-factual, but that does not make them lies.

@manton Why anyone would make a "joke" about false claims of Haitian immigrants in Springfield, OH. eating cats and dogs while running for the single largest and most influential political position on Earth is beyond me. And jokes are supposed to be funny, not incite dozens of bomb threats, shutdown schools, tank local businesses, and for the Ohio's Governor to plead for help protecting his citizens. I'm not laughing, and I would like to think that many of my fellow Americans don't find this a funny joke, either.
