Been using Artifact a few days now. It’s mostly just a better curated version of Apple News. AN provides a better reading experience in terms of UI though. I’ve always found AN horrible at curating content I want to see. Artifact does better here by miles.

@mindofaaronw Interesting! I have the opposite experience with Apple News. I find it does a good job of curating news I want to see, but I hate the app and so I try it and then abandon it. Currently looking at Bing as a simple news aggregator.

@MitchW I think Apple News is a good looking app, but I constantly try and curate specific topics out of my feed without blocking the publisher and it never works properly. How are you planning on using Bing?

@mindofaaronw I’m using Bing news as a place to check top headlines before diving into my RSS feeds. Also, the world is in such a state that I like to check the news as soon as I wake up and get to my desk, just to see if the zombie apocalypse started while I slept. 

Apple news does better selection for me, and it is indeed a beautiful app, but it’s hard to get anything out of it— to share a link to social media, or to a read-later app.
