Evidence of a tiny leak in my right boot. I ordered a new pair. They are my most favorite footwear right now. I’m going to guess that they are not rated for long stints immersed in seawater. I will be careful to rinse them daily.

@jean We can see the effects of the salt in the air where we live, despite being 1 mile from the coast and 600ft in elevation.

@Miraz I love them. I always wear wool in the rubber boots. I wish they had some more conventional colors between black/gray and the super vivid color designs they are known for, but other than that, no complaints. A+ customer service.

@jean If you know any fishers that regularly are on deck of a fishing vessel, I guess they can offer the best tips. (Maybe seafaring @cheri knows(?))

I haven’t used my boots (støvler) for three decades. I still have them. Maybe i just have to recycle them now.
