@jemostrom wow. Jag brukar ocksÄ fundera pÄ hur mÀnniskor kan ha överlevt pÄ ensliga platser. Och pÄ hur ensamt det mÄste ha varit. MÀnniskan Àr flockdjur heter det, men ibland undrar man.
@ndreas jo, jag undrar om inte de som bodde (?) hÀr, bara ett rum och ev ett stall, jobbade Ät nÄgon av bönderna i byarna runt omkring. Men jag har ocksÄ funderat en del pÄ detta.
@odd it seems to be a bit too close for that. There are two villages that are about 2km away and a third that it 3-4 km away so it surrounded by villages. So I would expect them to walk that distance. I need to ask some older people what they know about this house.
@ndreas jo, jag har en gren i stamtavlan som kommer frÄn en by lÄngt ute i skogen. NÀr man Äker dit och kollar sÄ blir jag utmattat bara jag tÀnker pÄ vilket jobb det mÄste ha varit att göra Äkermark av det omrÄdet.
@jemostrom Finland has a lot of these. Sometimes I try to figure out how these people made ends meet, barely no land, definitely not enough to support farm animals. Odd jobs and hunting and fishing?
@tkoola (yep, we had Finns coming over to Sweden and built farms in the middle of the woods). Hunting and fishing, yep. Forestry, yep. Making coal, yep. But otherwise I don't know what they did, in some cases it's very far from a larger village.
