@blankbaby It helps to think of this timeline as an amalgamated RSS feed that facilitates comments and conversations for many many independent blogs, rather than a social network. You have to have a blog to be part of Micro.blog. And you don't know who exactly is reading your blog. So even if we knew a follower count, it would only apply to the timeline. People can follow your blog via RSS.
