@JohnPhilpin You are welcome. My goal this year is to send more things in the mail. Personal mail is still fun.

@JohnPhilpin It's pretty magical that it works the way it does.

@JohnPhilpin I'm a huge fan of Waterworld. I am review-proof. But 3 hours of a post-apocalyptic tale did put me off.

@macgenie Back when we were teenagers, I mercilessly tortured a friend after seeing Waterworld by pointing out the logical inconsistencies. I don’t know if he’s quite forgiven me after 20+ years. 😁

@JohnPhilpin @macgenie I saw The Postman some years ago, randomly on TV, and enjoyed it. It wasn’t Dances with Wolves or Field of Dreams, but it was good—at least within the context in which I saw it. (I have not seen Waterworld.)

@smokey like @macgenie said ... def worth a watch ... but agree D w W .. phenomenal .... F of D not so much, but a lovely movie and better than The Postman .. which I did enjoy ... and I don’t even do baseball!

I think it’s his later years where he’s tripping up.
