I’ve gone on a little following binge on micro.blog using the discovery tab.
Do enough people routinely follow people on Micro.Blog and expand their horizons a bit….? Gotta admit, it doesn’t really feel like it…🤷♂️ Guess that’s why I’m trying to be the change I’d like to see… 👋
@DaveyCraney I have those very seldom too. Usually it’s by @jean’s welcome posts I start following people here.

@bkryer Haha! I think everyone feels a little that way about themselves. I like to see myself as the “If you need anything let me know” online neighbour vs the “I’ve brought you a casserole and I’m a bit overbearing” style neighbour 🤣
@odd @DaveyCraney I don’t post a welcome reply to each new account. I try to figure out if the person is here to socialize. Some people just want Micro.blog as a blog host.
And I might miss some people due to skimming too fast or being off work too long. That’s the downside of not being a robot.
