Radicchio snack break watching @mentour_pilot discuss maximum aircraft speeds. I told Grace and Ada they donโ€™t have to worry about air disasters because guinea pigs are not allowed on commercial flights.

@vasta Don't invite Grace over, or you will have to eat very fast.

(What's your radicchio salad recipe? We eat it pretty plain here. ๐Ÿ˜„)

@macgeneie @vasta A pedant speaks: Could we please stop calling radicchio a lettuce? It is a chicory, if it is anything.

@macgenie I like radicchio grilled, or griddled, sometimes with spaghetti. Seems to have gone from the shops around Glasgow recently so I fall back on chicory (The straight kind).

@vasta The stuff here is too bitter to replace lettuce in a salad entirely, but a few leaves add a lot of interest. Grilled it is marvellous.

@vasta Hmnn I can get red miso - at a price - but never seen white. I will have to look for it. Is there s big difference in flavour?

@vasta great dressing, tried it today, lemon juice rather than vinegar, with roasted cauliflower (florets not whole) , tasty, thanks.
