I looked at my bookshelf and found Ursula K. Le Guin book that I’ve not read yet (Lathe of Heaven). Good work past Timo purchasing it, but bad job my memory not remembering I had it

@jean It has long been on the list. So far, I've not read anything from her that I didn't like, so expectations are high

@tkoola In my typically spotty reading in science fiction, I have only read Lathe of Heaven and the Earthsea trilogy. But she was a local Portland treasure whom I admired, and I even met her briefly when I volunteered at the Portland Book Festival. So, what would you recommend I read next?

@jean my favourites are "The Word for World Is Forest" (themes are imperialism/colonialism and the planet is all forest) and "The Left Hand of Darkness" which has a very interesting story about gender (and the planet is all winter all the time, very Finnish 🙃). And then may be Dispossesed that is I think generally considered to be her best Hainish book
