When did Zoom change its terms?

I used to talk for unlimited time with 1 person with a 40-minute limit for 3 or more people.

Now that 40-minute limit is universal.

Poll

Is this going to incentivize more people to pay or will they simply find alternative solutions?

@JohnPhilpin It was a couple months ago. I only found out in the middle of a Star Trek podcast recording that took months to schedule. 😫 It was a mess. I am still using Skype for free for a couple of weekly meetings, and I will probably stick with that until something changes. But most people are accustomed to Zoom now, and I use it with Micro Monday with a paid account now.

More on that Zoom thing ...

Zoom lowers its full-year profit and sales forecast, sending its stock down.

Zoom’s main initiative so far has been its decision to limit meetings hosted by Basic or free users to just 40 minutes. Implemented last month, the move is designed to encourage users to upgrade to a paid Pro subscription, which costs $14.99 per month or $149.90 annually in the U.S. Steckelberg insisted that the change has had a “significantly positive impact” on the business thus far.

Personally I am not convinced. What about you @jean ?
