Huge mega cities get super hero’s like Super Man and Bat Man. But what kind of resident super hero’s do small cities like South Bend, Indiana or Sioux Falls, South Dakota get?

@bradenslen There is an interesting answer to this in The Boys. Like sports, big markets get big teams, but the superheroes have to start out somewhere, and there has to be a place they can be demoted to.

@darby3 It is not for the faint of heart, yet I can’t stop watching it. I think it’s my antidote to overdosing on the MCU.

@jean @bradenslen Very different tone than The Boys, but there’s a fun issue of Astro City (perhaps my favorite superhero medium of all time) that tells the story of Roustabout, a small town superhero, and the town he works in.

@jeannie @jean Thanks for those links. Interesting. I guess we’d get Captain Drive-Thru or Bowling Woman which would just be so - wrong. And no spandex because they’d just end up in jail.

@bradenslen I think Kick-Ass might do it, depending on the crime rates, of course.
