I’m already trying to bring an awareness of what Burkeman talked about into my life, and ... www.crossingthethreshold.net

@Pilchuck @crossingthethreshold I added a week counter to my counters on the Yonks app. 3232. It's sobering, in a good way. I liked this book so much. I thought it was going to be a productivity book, which I approached with a jaded eye because I'm officially sick of all things GTD-inspired.

@jean @Pilchuck Thank you for the reminder of the Yonks app. I have just re-downloaded it and await to see what my sobering figure will be.

I almost never read 4000 weeks, despite the reviews. I don’t do well with regular productivity books, which is what I thought it would be, but it jumped off the shelves at me at the local bookstore. I’ll definitely be returning to it and find myself reflecting on the ideas and conclusions that Burkeman puts forward, as I go through my day. Maybe a big word, but I found it quite a profound book.
