@jean One of the most surreal things I’ve ever seen. Also weirdly hyper local. One patch of grass, nothing; the next one over, hundreds of them.
@jafish Yes, it’s an impressive phenomenon. I lived in grad school housing near the Harrison Street bridge. There were a lot of them there. But I also house-sat in one of the big old houses in the wealthy west side of town and they were super intense there. I was told it was because the properties were mostly undisturbed by development.
