Using Due app to keep track of repeating items on a long term basis – a reliable means. Manually entering each item which shows up in Due for the day in a day list of todo items, helps press them into my mind better than a mere glance in the App.

@Sylari That makes sense. For me, I can only put in a limited number of one-off tasks, otherwise I get too many notifications. I have 4 weekly or monthly reminders (post podcasts, pay rent, send invoice), and one or two must-dos at the most, things I'm likely to forget or avoid, such as phone calls. I love Due, and have been using it for many years.

@jean too many notifications Yes! I too love Due. On the day of notification, especially for tasks I can perform at any time during the day, I tend to defer them another hour or ten minutes -- then the frustration builds frm continual same reminders. By adopting this manual means and leaving at least one defered electronic reminder (instead of many), it helps reduce that frurstation.
