I just took a minute to call my dad to see how he’s doing in the wake of Alex Trebek’s death. He’s okay. (My dad does not like me to call him this, but he is JEOPARDY! Champion Ken Hirsh. He won in the episode that aired 10/27/16.)
@macgenie My son was 20 days old when the episode aired. For Christmas that year my dad gave him a onesie that said "Future JEOPARDY! Champion."

I take the test every year for fun. I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I actually were called into audition.
@macgenie 20+ yrs ago I "auditioned" for Teen Jeopardy at my dad's behest. Didn't make it past the test bc the questions were so different from normal Jeopardy. My dad kept a blog about his quest to be on Jeopardy: jeopardyquest.kenhirshonline.com
