@manton On this page: help.micro.blog/2018/repl... bullets 2 and 5 seem mutually exclusive? I have bullet 5 working as documented, but micro.blog doesn't appear to (re)post a webmention to the target blog as documented in bullet 2 when #5 happens. Would appreciate if you could clarify the intended behavior. 🙂

@jd Just in case it's not clear, #5 is mostly for replying to another reply that's hosted on Micro.blog, and #2 is for replying (via Micro.blog) to an original blog post somewhere else on the web. You make a good point, though, that maybe Micro.blog should also be forwarding incoming replies back up to the original post.

@manton Thanks for confirming. I could imagine some not wanting the forwarding but I think it would be cool if forwarding happened for Webmentions posted to the micro.blog endpoint where both the source and target are external blogs that are associated with micro.blog accounts.

That way, the replies would consistently appear both inside and outside of micro.blog.

@manton Of course, the source could just manually send two Webmentions but forwarding could be a convenient shortcut.
