Dad called me just before with an update on his health, having now seen the urologist. He definitely needs to have the kidney out, so surgery’s scheduled for November 2. @jayeless I’m so sorry your family is facing this. When my mom first went into the hospital in January, I tried to talk with her about normal stuff rather than focusing on the test results she was waiting for. I did sort of let her into the minitiae of my day more with pictures and texts about little daily stuff. I think your dad has the right idea. Thinking of you all.
