07 Fiona:

… our dog Fiona tested positive for a tick born disease in routine blood work… on to the PCR test… $200 later, all is well… better than prophylactic treatment with antibiotics…

@mbkriegh I'm glad she's turned out alright! That is a nice photo of her – a scenic location too 😁

@jayeless Thankfully! She’s a very sweet dog. Do you have a dog/cat?

@mbkriegh Yes, I have a tabby cat, Gidget, who's been racking up some vet bills of her own lately 😅 And I also have a dog in my life, Gizmo, who's my parents dog but I see him very often. He's very sweet as well so long as you don't go near where he hid his biscuits. Or where he thinks he might have hidden some biscuits.

@jayeless We once had a dog that was aggressive around only food he found. If you gave it to him you could take it away from him. But if he found it… well, let’s just say that dog ate a lot of chicken bones tossed on the street. Never had any ill effects though.

@mbkriegh Haha, well that at least is somewhat logical. With Gizmo it's like, we gave you the biscuits; if we'd wanted any we'd have got our own at the same time! But a bit of growling isn't the worst character flaw, I guess.
