Whew, with visitors arriving shortly, my room has had its most thorough clean in ages. I even pulled furniture out to vacuum and wet mop behind. And I cleaned the insides of the windows! (Outsides are high and tricky.) Plus all my usual junk has been put away. Quite nice really.
@Miraz I think those are the main times our place gets a good tidy, too – and then we’re in for months of not being able to find random things because I don’t know which cupboard Viv stashed them into and he doesn’t remember… 😂
@jayeless Ohhh, yes! Some of my filing system is: right-hand end of the chest of drawers, or behind the pile of (whatever). Ours is a very small house: two bedrooms and a total of 68 square metres so not many places to store stuff.
@Miraz Having had no visitors in 10 months means… I’m not ready for any visitors. Holiday gatherings and occasional overnight guests definitely kept things in check around here.
