@Parag I'm not familiar with the LiveJournal export format. Might need to convert to another format in the middle like WordPress and then import that to Micro.blog.
@Parag I’m sure there’s something to export it in a format that you can import it to a Wordpress account (free one at dot com). Once it’s imported there, you can export it in a format that you can then import to Micro.blog. So basically a two-step export process that involves Wordpress
@pratik Thanks! I have a wordpress blog and am importing there right now. I think I told you about deleting my blog with almost 8 years of posts in 2000s. I recently remembered that it was mirrored on Livejournal and was able to find userid and password. All those posts are still there. Will be good to get all those here on Micro.blog.
@Parag That would be a fantastic archive. I’ve imported my NEFA on a separate blog (hosted by Blot) where I also selectively-crosspost any longform posts I want to definitely retain.
