Did I imagine AI alt text in Mimi uploader, or has it been removed?
Bummer if so, it was so helpful.
@gregmorris I think the developer said it's gone for now but likely coming back in a future large redesign. In the meantime, you're more than welcome to use my shortcut for generating alt text! (This one does the whole upload process in bulk, or this one is much simpler.)
@jarrod @gregmorris I am very interested in this. 🙂 I didn't realize Mimi removed it, but I imagine it's tricky because there are costs to running it.
@manton @jarrod @gregmorris for a while I think it was free on the beta or maybe that was for everyone. However, now to use the AI alt text in Mimi you have to be a monthly supporter (which you can find in the settings under Supporter) where he has some price tiers that are pretty reasonable to Manton's point is most likey to cover the small costs associated with it.
@ericmwalk I find the workflow using the shortcut from @jarrod to be easier to use since I can upload and get the alt text in one shot for multiple images. I was thinking of writing a plugin to do this at build time but I haven’t had much time to look into it.
