@pratik that is very nice. How does it look with three or more I wonder? Keeping the proportions is nice as opposed to making everything square.

@vincent I think 99% of the users just add text at the top and then upload a bunch of photos. The UI of the native Micro.blog app also encourages that. For other types, treat it like a macro post @manton

@pratik @vincent One of the challenges is avoiding lots of edge cases. Already people are confused about how the timeline works. Will give this some more thought.

@manton @vincent I understand that, but after a while, you may have to decide how many edge cases exist to hold back progress from the vast majority. Perhaps people will change their posting behavior based on how the platform treats their post (positive and subtle affordances in UI/UX terms). Tbh, I don’t use Sunlit since it’s like a filter app for Micro.blog but it’s too much of a hassle to use a separate app just for viewing photos.

@ChrisJWilson I have seen it work just as wonderfully with 10+ photos and the scrolling is smooth and you can click on any photo to view it in full and return back to the post easily.
