This is the keyboard I use with my iOS devices (though the black model, not the wood one).
Apart from looking cool and having blue mechanical switches, it can also pair with three different devices.

@vishae it’s always weird for me when some word matches a Swedish word (“Penna” is the Swedish word for “a pen”)
@vishae yes, but it completely throws me off when I read it. Same thing when reading something in English and they start discussing ikea products. My brain starts “stuttering” 😋
@vishae I have the black model also. As cool as it is, I find that I rarely use it. I should give it another go.
@vasta can I ask how the Lofree keyboard is working for you? Is it made for heavy duty deskwriting?
@jack you should. I find that I like the iPad separate from the keyboard, but it’s still good
@jack Well there’s that. Do you use a laptop stand when using an external keyboard with the MBP?
@cheri mechanical keyboards are the best! I have two Filco mechanical keyboards, one for work and one for my iMac at home. I’ve always gotten blue switches but I want to try getting that [switches sampler](www.amazon.com/mechanica...
@vishae I don't. Although when using an external keyboard with the MBP it's usually closed and connected to an external monitor.
@vishae This looks great. I just got a Matias Laptop Pro keyboard to use with my MacBook Pro.
@vishae Nice! I have a DasKeyboard for my desk, and I just picked up a small E-Element Keyboard for travel. I like blue switches too, but browns are a tad quieter. I work in a shared space and try to avoid the stink eye. Browns are my compromise. 😆
@jemostrom that’s interesting, I’ve never thought about IKEA furniture names, what do they usually mean?
@jack haha, that makes more sense, I was trying to figure out how far your screen would be away from you if you had the MacBook Pro open and an external keyboard in front of that 🤦🏻♀️
@rishabh I actually bought one of those too, years ago, but I can’t remember why I didn’t like it. I resold it on eBay two days after I got it.
But now I’ve been hearing a lot more people talking about it after I’ve read Jason Snell’s article about it - frequency illusion maybe? Regardless, it makes me want to give that keyboard another go, along with [Jason’s iPad stand](www.amazon.com/gp/produc...
@cheri ooh, I wanted a Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate, they look so nice! That E-Element keyboard does look very portable, and it’s very affordable too. But it’s a wired keyboard? So you don’t use it with iOS devices?
@vishae It can be names like Billy, Algot or Nisse, places like Kallax, Själland or Eneby, or words like bestå (= consist/remain/endure), snidad (=carved), gradvis (=gradually) or ansluta (=connect)
@jemostrom I can see how that could be strange to see. I think I’ll be going into IKEA with google translate on next time.
