I just want to say that setting the home timeline to never show boosts is really nice. I do miss out on things but I never know what I'm missing out on so it's okay!

Sometimes I turn it back on and it's mostly stuff I would have scrolled on by or been annoyed with anyway.

@darius The day that I realized that disabling retweets would make Twitter so much better was a good day.

Now I'm the community manager at Micro.blog, where I spend most of my social media time, and we don't even have the option to re-post.

@macgenie @darius I sometimes miss seeing boosts from the the folks on Mastodon that I follow, but it's mostly for the best that I only see their actual toots instead.
