Moved my desk to the other side of my office today. New perspective. Who knows what I’ll be able to accomplish now? Sometimes feels like old routines are holding us back.

@manton My desk has been in the exact same spot for 21 years! Wonder if I should contemplate a change.

@brentsimmons Maybe! Although the flip side to my post is that if everything is going great, no need for changes. I think it's when we get stuck in a routine that isn't working that it becomes hard to be creative.

@manton Once I was considering buying a new desk but instead I chose to change the alignment. That made it seem fresh. We’re still using it.

@manton I've thought about this, but there's really only one place for a desk in my studio.

@ismh Yeah, the new location for my desk doesn't actually make a lot of sense either. I need to move a few things around and replace my desk with something smaller (hopefully a standing desk finally).

@manton Always gives quite a good feeling, especially when you manage to find an alignment that really makes it better. After a while I find you'll have found the 'best' spot. I wonder if that means I should move houses next.

@Tales Heh. I guess it can be taken to the extreme... There's a lot I can do to this office before I give up on it and need a new house. 🙂
