Soul nebula in Cassiopeia at about 6500 light years from us. This large emission nebula is often photographed with its neighbor - Heart nebula.

@odd I live in rural Connecticut with somewhat dark skies. On moonless nights, I can easily make out the Milky Way. That said, this photo was taken with a narrowband filter to reduce light pollution which was mostly from almost full moon. 😊
