@AndyNicolaides don’t want to encourage you to buy something you don’t need, but the new m.b feature to import feeds to your blog (and not just timeline) makes having multiple sources better.

@toddgrotenhuis wait…what’s this feature? So I could pull from a feed (like instagram? or a podcast RSS?) and it would appear on my blog as a post?
@AndyNicolaides @ChrisJWilson I don’t think it would handle instagram yet, as it’s currently doing text only, but @manton plans to fix that. his announcement
@AndyNicolaides @toddgrotenhuis @manton wow, so it’s a way to implement a PESOS rather than POSSE ? That’s really interesting .
@ChrisJWilson @AndyNicolaides @toddgrotenhuis I would fall over if Instagram ever worked. Although, I suppose they don’t care about photos anymore so I guess there’s a chance?
@jasonekratz @AndyNicolaides Mine doesn’t renew until like March or April next year, part of me wants to walk away. even though I have my iCould email forwarding to HEY, there are certain accounts/emails it won’t get forwarded, not sure why. I like how it makes email easy and somewhat fun to use and that I have access to it no matter the platform, but the price tag…. usually when I renew is because I have had a few beers and like with every great decision I’ve ever made, I say fuck it! lol
@Gaby beer + subscriptions = dangerous combination that is my wallets worst enemy
@AndyNicolaides I canceled my Hey subscription and switched to Fastmail with a custom domain. I set up the Feed and Paper Trail features of Hey using Rules in Fastmail. I don’t need the Hey World blog when I have Micro.blog.
