These were the final moments of the rescue. Altogether it took twelve people - 3 neighbours, a resident in the village (who’s roof he was on), me, Simon, an RSPCA inspector, 4 firemen and a stuntman animal rescuer to get lovely Rafferty to safety. Cats causing trouble again. 🙃😻

@hollyhoneychurch Whew! Now it'd be good to know if Rafferty thinks: “Cripes, that was a thing. I'll never do that again” or “That was a bit rough in patches but worked out OK in the end. I'll try that again next week”. 🙀

@Miraz he's an eighteen month old boy. Anything could happen. But I’ve told him to make sure it all happens after next Friday (when we leave 🤪). Oh and he just bought a rat in. 🙄

@hollyhoneychurch Wow, that looks like quite the adventure for all involved! I’m glad Rafferty got down in one piece, though it sounded like he wasn’t happy with the ride service and will be composing a lengthy letter of complaint. Perhaps the rat is just the “To whom it may concern...” part. 😬

@bsag there were so many possibilities. I’m glad it was that one. I’m sure he'll sign off with the 'Birman Huff'. We're trying to convey that he delivered the rat to the wrong address. 🙄
