I finally understand how all of these Activity Pub sites connect with each other.

Now, I just need to figure out whether I want to use Pixelfed or Micro.blog for pix.
@JoeCotellese Glad it was helpful! Really depends on if you want all your photos together on your blog or split across multiple services. I prefer everything together because it feels more permanent to have one place.
@JoeCotellese am on both. Pixelfed lacks a mobile app - if you are ok with just using the browser for uploading, etc., then it should work for you. Micro.blog has a photo-only app, too. :) Personally, I am on pixelfed.social for testing (will spin up my own instance if and when they get a decent iOS app out), but I use Micro.blog and Flickr.com for photos.
